As you may be aware, the Traco Club normally has an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May or June every year.
At the AGM, we generally outline how we are doing financially and what new projects are in the pipeline for the next 12 months.
A committee is formed and if necessary new ‘officers’ of the club are selected if their tenure in office is up for reselection.
A question and answer session follows so members can have their say.
Because of the Covid 19 virus pandemic, it has been decided by the Traco Club Committee that this year, 2020, there will not be an AGM due to government guide lines of numbers of people allowed at a single gathering.
This being the case, the existing committee will carry on as we stand at the moment. This is the first time in the club's history that there has been a 12 month delay for the AGM but under the circumstances, the committee feel that we have no alternative.
We hope that if and when things improve, we will be able to have our AGM as normal in May or June 2021.
We understand that this decision may not sit comfortably with some members, so, if you have any questions regarding this decision, please do not hesitate to contact us (in writing) and we will do our best to come back to you with answers.
Additionally, if you are interested in joining the committee, please let us know, especially if you have an expertise in a particular subject that would be beneficial to the club.
The club continues to trade as normal and looks forward to seeing you all as normal. Finally, can I remind you that your annual club subscriptions are due this month (August) From the Traco Club Committee
